Jiazhen Chen
Jiazhen Chen is a Ph.D. Graduate Student in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, who joined the Gorodetsky Group in 2023.
He received his M.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Cornell University (Ithaca, NY, USA) in 2023, B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology (Shanghai, China) in 2019, and B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Technische Hochschule Lübeck (Lübeck, Germany). Prior to joining the Gorodetsky Group, his research focused on understanding and engineering glycan biosynthesis pathways in E. Coli. Jiazhen is broadly interested in protein engineering and metabolic engineering.
In the Gorodetsky Group, Jiazhen’s current research is focused on protein engineering in biological systems.
