Hanzhi Yin
Hanzhi Yin is a Ph.D. student in the Interdisciplinary Materials and Manufacturing Technology program, who joined the Gorodetsky Group in 2023.
She received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology (Beijing, China) in 2020 and her M.S. in Electronic Science and Technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Hubei, China) in 2023. Prior to joining the Gorodetsky Group, Hanzhi worked on thermal radiation management. Her research interests include designing adaptive materials.
In the Gorodetsky Group, Hanzhi’s current research focuses on squid skin-inspired appearance-changing composite materials and devices.
