Nadia E. Tolouei is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Chemical and biomolecular Engineering, who joined the Gorodetsky Group in January 2021.
She received her M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University ( Edwardsville, US ) in 2021. She received her B.S. in Textile Chemistry Engineering and Fiber Science from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic, Iran) in 2018. Prior to joining the Gorodetsky group, she worked on Micro Electromechanical systems(MEMS). Nadia is interested in bioMEMS, electrical characterization of biomaterials.
In the Gorodetsky Group, Nadia’s current research is focused on Electrical Characterization of Protein Films. Her future potential areas of work include industry like pharmaceutical and high-tech companies.
