Preeta Pratakshya is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Chemistry, who joined the Gorodetsky Group in 2018.
She received her joint B.S. and M.S. in Chemistry from the National Institute of Science Education and Research (Bhubaneswar, India) in 2017. Prior to joining the Gorodetsky Group, she worked on the synthesis and photophysical studies of organoboron complexes for applications in OLEDs. Preeta is interested in the study of functional soft materials for bioelectronics applications.
In the Gorodetsky Group, Preeta’s current research is focused on understanding the relationships between the structure, self-assembly, and properties of reflectins.
